thryckz 1 Posted June 15, 2012 (edited) I recently downloaded the ARMA Dedicated Server Tool for my Windows Server. I ran my server which turned out quite fine, the other players were connected and playing well...Except me. Whenever I join my server I am slapped with a message saying "You have been banned". Before I restored my computer, I was faced with three or four hackers on my server which used some major hack to ban every admin. It was only me and my friend that were admin's at the time but thats not the point. I installed BattleEye's RCON Tool and connected to my server. I tried unbanning my GUID but it does not work. Then I downloaded the GUI RCON for ARMA and my ban or my friend's ban are not listed. What exactly happened? I cannot play on my server internally or externally so yea. What happened? Can this be fixed? (The client and server versions are both 1.60) Thanks :) Edited June 15, 2012 by ThRyCkz
cm. 10 Posted June 15, 2012 step 1: open web browser step 2: google "arma 2 dedicated server" step 3: learn 2 admin step 4: ??? step 5: profit? check your bans.txt in your arma 2 server under the "battleye" folder profile ;) You may also need to check the bans.txt in your arma2 root directory. I deleted my GUID in ban.txt , forgot to mention that. whenever I join, it add's itself back.
cm. 10 Posted June 15, 2012 :/ have you restarted the server? It should re-load the bans.txt. Failing that, once you've deleted your GUID just type "loadbans" into the rcon console and it should do it.
