Combined Operations shuddering freezing every 2 seconds. Unplayable

Hi. :) I recently purchased the combined operations bundle. I did alot of the *fixes* people were recommending and it was to no avail. If anything I could slightly play arma2 more than OA. But yeah, the game freezes every few seconds. It will then Play a bit and look smooth then freeze again.

The game does the freezing as soon as i launch the game *menus* and continues into the game. The game was purchased on steam so i believe it to be up2date.

*also* if anyones got ne optimization tips as well that'd be wonderful :) My cards an ATI....specifics in the DxDiag

Anywho If anyone could bail me out here I would be most Appreciative of the help
