advocatexxx 0 Posted June 15, 2002 There are other explanations. Major Fubar could be on a small-business LAN behind a single-IP gateway. Any computer from this LAN would have the same WAN IP. Perhaps Fubar has a friend who's working at the same place as him and coincidentally also plays Flashpoint as well as participates on this forum, though such a possibility is highly unlikely. I have examined the screen shot which Placebo posted and apart from the fact that RuptureZone's post is far more compressed (in JPEG) than MajorFubar's post, this could easily have been contributed by Placebo's poor graphics-manipulation abilities. Nevertheless, I doubt Placebo would even think of trying to manipulate the screen shots as there are other moderators who drop in from time to time, and Placebo's evil plot would have soon been unveiled. I thus consider those screen shots as sufficient proof. In addition, MajorFubar was logged in at the same time as Rupture Zone. At 5:49 RuptureZone made his initial post. 6 minutes later at 5:55 nordin dk made his comment, and just 2 minutes later Major Fubar followed. It is easy to assume that MajorFubar, after changing logins sat at the computer, refreshing the screen to see when his topic gets a reply. Taking into account the fierce speed with which topics get replied to, he did not have to wait too long. Thus as soon as nordin dk made his comment, Major Fubar followed with his. It's of course no surprise that RuptureZone has absolutely no profile whatsoever, and has chosen his email to be hidden. In addition, MajorFubar's confession that he has no clear idea of what IPs are or what they mean, this in fact serves against his good will. For if he did know how IPs work and that they are recorded on this forum, he would not have made such foolish mistakes. In conclusion, unless MajorFubar can provide some evidence, this court charges MajorFubar with one count of aggrevated verbal assault. Security, escort the prisoner. Dismissed !
