4 IN 1 0 Posted November 1, 2011 As far as I recall, the AW101, which the heavy class is modeled after, have 3 powerplants, where in the game there is only 2, is this also intentional? Or do I missing something?
hon0 10 Posted November 1, 2011 Two engines + apu ? no?
4 IN 1 0 Posted November 1, 2011 (edited) Two engines + apu ? no? No, it should be 3 turboshaft + APU, just like CH-53E, only much less power With that said, I wouldn't mind if the power output is the same, I just feel that the #3 engine mapping when useless for the offical game content Edited November 1, 2011 by 4 IN
capt_morpheme 10 Posted November 1, 2011 most of AW101 are fitted with Italian-assembled T700-GE-T6A engines of 1278 kW (1714 shp) and a and a gas turbine APU.

lone.wolf 80 Posted November 2, 2011 Is it possible when flying with the Heavy Luxury Class (Vrana, ION or Civil) to have the side door closed, it bugs me that my VIP's getting blow dried when flying them to meetings... :-) Only the non luxury model of the Heavy have a closed side door... konyo 14 Posted November 3, 2011 But how do I retract the landing gear? +1 This... How?
armored_sheep 56 Posted November 3, 2011 Actualy retractible gear and helicopter taxiing is WIP. I cannot tell when, but we believe that our engine and flight model can handle it.
xman1 10 Posted November 3, 2011 Similar to the auto retracting gear in ArmA II's HinD's? -X
CarlGustaffa 4 Posted November 3, 2011 "Autogear" like in Arma2 might be okay for that game, but I would expect more here, with cockpit interaction and all that. Nice to hear it's a least WIP even if it didn't make it already.

jm2 10 Posted November 3, 2011 How do you see the gear when youre in the air? Anyone is using external view? Instead of retracting gears, it would more helpfull, when you could move the pilots body more to the right (left at Md500) when the door is open (or there is no door). So far that you can look down to the ground, as it is possible in the real life too (somtimes with this bubble windows).
