Mister Frag 0 Posted June 3, 2002 OFP doesn't care about or change the AGP transfer rate. It makes no changes to the BIOS or video settings. During the installation of OFP, did you opt to install DirectX? What operating system do you have, and what version of the Detonator drivers? Can your system finish the DirectX video diagnostics? theavonlady 2 Posted June 4, 2002 You didn't answer Mister Frag's question. When you installed OFP, did you also select the option to have OFP install DirectX for you?

ALDEGA 0 Posted June 4, 2002 OF does not alter the agp multiplier. The only problem that I can see might be that you installed DX. WinXP has 8.1. The DX installer on the OF cdrom installs 8.0. You must not (try to) install older versions of DX over a newer one! I suggest you rerun WinXP installation and choose to repair the current installation. This way your problem *should* be fixed and you don't lose any of your data.
