-DirTyDeeDs--Ziggy- 0 Posted October 26, 2011 (edited) :o indeed it does not. That's what I get for winging it without listening to and following directions... Zipper5 mentioned to me how but I didn't document it at the time... try this instead. go to My Documents, Take On Helicopters other profiles, your name. open up YourName.cfg edit the line preferredTrafficViewDistance=1000; to your desired value, then save the value can only go as low as 100 in Video Options, this way it can be set to 0. I CONFIRM this as working. heheheh sorry :p. reference my cfg teamSwitchOffsetX=0.37976179; teamSwitchOffsetY=-0.079365104; keyHeliRopeAction[]={275}; mouseSensitivityX=0.9183085; mouseSensitivityY=0.9245736; floatingZoneArea=0; headBob=0.33548018; gamma=1.0212291; brightness=1.0277234; fovTop=0.75; fovLeft=1.3333334; uiTopLeftX=0.18124998; uiTopLeftY=0.074999988; uiBottomRightX=0.81875002; uiBottomRightY=0.92500001; IGUIScale=0.85000002; sceneComplexity=500000; shadowZDistance=500; viewDistance=7000; preferredObjectViewDistance=2400; preferredTrafficViewDistance=1000; terrainGrid=12.5; volumeCD=9.5040483; volumeFX=6.5109892; volumeSpeech=3.0841527; volumeVoN=6.5; vonRecThreshold=0.029999999; Edited October 26, 2011 by [DirTyDeeDs]-Ziggy-

DnA 5139 Posted October 26, 2011 in My Documents, Take On Helicopters, there is a text file called TakeOnH.notice AmbientTraffic=1; change the 1 to a 0, and save. This feature is only available since the experimental beta patch 2 (and the full game of course). You should be able to disable it by setting the video option for ambient traffic to its lowest value. There's also script commands to disable / adjust the traffic in isolated areas of the environment (keep an eye on the community WiKi).
