PrivateWolf   10 Posted October 13, 2011 So you see, I'm going to buy Arma 2: Combined Ops soon well if I get to find one but my question is what if I join a server on Combined Ops that HAS an expansion? like BAF expansion or so can I join them? And also I think Combined Ops here in my country is pretty scarce since lots of people wanna try it I'll just be planning to buy Arma 2:OA but does buying Arma2:OA only mean I can only join less servers since some servers have combined ops? HR4 Elite   10 Posted October 13, 2011 I don’t play MP but I think that you would need the expansion and indeed whatever mods they are running to be able to join in, why not get the set ‘Arma X’ , everything is in there expansion wise.. domokun   515 Posted October 13, 2011 I'm afraid that I've no idea as I've got all the expansions. To be honest, if you like the game, grab the expansions as they're only €9 each and offer new units, weapons and campaigns too. Moreover the PMC campaign can be played in co-op (with a buddy). The A2 campaign can be played with up to 3 other players but neither the OA, nor BAF campaign can be played in co-op. But if you're thinking of buying CO + BAF + PMC then you might as well get the Arma Anniversary X pack. For only €8 extra you also get Cold War Assault (OFP), Armed Assault (ARMA1) and Queen's Gambit (A1 expansion). It may sound like a lot but you're getting a HUGE amount of gaming there.
