Buy the game from the BIS store in order to support the developers and then burn it to a DVD if you want a solid copy of the game.

Some of us are old fashioned and like silly little things like a Case and manual.

As for buying via Steam instead of Sprocket. There are no benefits whatsoever, in fact your likely just asking for future issues

Do you like modding ballaches?

Get sprocket download or physical copy so you don't drive other community members insane with questions on why mods don't work etc.

Yes ,there will be a retailversion:27 of October 2011 .Unknown if there will be a Steam version but let`s hope so.

A Core i3 with MX470 graphix card will play it on high everything @ 70 fps (estimated).A GTX570,HD6970 will do just fine.(Estimated, too.)

There are some movies on youtube on the subject of what will run Arma 2 game at a stable 60 fps on high and use that as a refrence.

thanks for the replies, but I've decided to preorder it yesterday. Next step is to check the hardware ;)
