danvers 10 Posted September 30, 2011 Hey, I've seen that the game to pre purchase is a downloadable version, will there be a retail version too?
maddogx 13 Posted September 30, 2011 Good question. :) Next question: who is the publisher?
jblackrupert 14 Posted September 30, 2011 Hopefully better then Arma 2 and Arrowhead. Copies were virtually non-existant in Canada for over 2 months.
Stoops417 10 Posted September 30, 2011 I'm still hoping for a Steam release.
Maio 293 Posted September 30, 2011 Buy the game from the BIS store in order to support the developers and then burn it to a DVD if you want a solid copy of the game.
jblackrupert 14 Posted September 30, 2011 Some of us are old fashioned and like silly little things like a Case and manual. As for buying via Steam instead of Sprocket. There are no benefits whatsoever, in fact your likely just asking for future issues
liquidpinky 11 Posted October 1, 2011 I'm still hoping for a Steam release. Why? Do you like modding ballaches? Get sprocket download or physical copy so you don't drive other community members insane with questions on why mods don't work etc.
John1000 10 Posted October 1, 2011 Hey, I've seen that the game to pre purchase is a downloadable version, will there be a retail version too? Yes ,there will be a retailversion:27 of October 2011 .Unknown if there will be a Steam version but let`s hope so. A Core i3 with MX470 graphix card will play it on high everything @ 70 fps (estimated).A GTX570,HD6970 will do just fine.(Estimated, too.) There are some movies on youtube on the subject of what will run Arma 2 game at a stable 60 fps on high and use that as a refrence.
