Helicopter Gunner and Rockets

Why doesn't the helicopter pilot have access to the rocket pods by default? Is there a mod for the pilot in attack helicopters having rocket control?

There should be a place were you could post it as a bug or issue, might be a good suggestion.

But seriously I don't have that problem. In the cobra or apache I control rockets and gunner has cannon and helfires. Are you running any special mods or addons?

Really? I have to go to manual fire to get direct access to the rockets.

I think there might be an AI thing going on there. I'm not too sure. It is possible to give the pilot the rockets, though, so there's no limitation there.
