npk 16 Posted August 7, 2011 So I'm playing around with some mapmaking using the Invasion 1944 mod. It is after all 1944, so that means there is no NVGs and seeing as I would like to make some mission that takes place at night, I would love to know how to do so that I may actually see at night. I've seen this effect in some maps, for example the Invasion 1944 team have made some maps, where it's greyish instead of pitchblack, and you are actually able to see people in the night! Seeing as I'm a scripting newbie, I would love some help on this matter. :)

CarlGustaffa 4 Posted August 7, 2011 The command setAperture lets you define the eye aperture to allow better night vision, but if you use this method (0 or -1 is auto iirc) it won't get narrower (allowing less light) if you for some reason become blinded by a flare or searchlight. Nor will a mission survive well over several hours if it starts becoming day again.
