How to add enableTeamSwitch function in a domination mission!

Does anyone know how to enableTeamSwitch function in a domination mission. I can get all the AI to show up on the map and I can use any group after my unit or units in my group die but can't get the teamswitch thing to work!

this is what I put in the description

Thanks for any input on this.

My goal is to be able to play a domination mission by myself or with friend and we could control all the units on the map at once.

I don't think it is possible to use team switch in multiplayer.

I want to play the mission coop with a friend or by myself. I have missions that I have setup with the TS fucntion and it works great.

TeamSwitch in MP = disaster

I don't want it for player vs player or warfare. I am going to edit a dom mission for coop play with a friend.

I wasn't talking about any specific game mode or cheating. I literally mean it's a disaster. Scripts break, equipment breaks, players break, tasks break, units break.

If it's for Domi I can't understand why you'd want it anyway? There's respawn, revive and teleport in Domi, what are you missing?

I HATE RESPAWNS OF UNITS. I HATE REVIVES as well. I would love to play a domination mission with limited resources. If your tank gets taking out or your chopper gets shot down you are fucked and you have to find a way to take the city or citys without the use of that resource. I come from a group of hard core coop play. I hate warefare because if you lose a unit no big deal just make a new one. I can go on and on about warfare. Don't get me wrong I KNOW MOST players like it. I feel domination could be great for me but with limited resource and no RESPAWNS of anything. I would love to have full control of all the units. If I could get the TS fucntion then I would love to add the high command fucntion as well for a second group to assist us/me on the map. If you know how I could do this that would be great if not thanks.

For anyone who gives a rats ass. It is really easy to get the teamswitch fucntional to work in domination missions just follow three simple steps.

Description

1. Just change the respawn = base to 5

2. just change the disabledAI = true to False

inti.sqf

3. just change enableTeamSwitch false to True.

Now you by YOURSELF or with a few friends can play any domination mission with full control of all the units in the mission to take a city/town in full Force. I would recommend to turn off all Respwans so if you lose a unit it's gone for the whole mission.

DOMINATION HAS NEVER BEEN SO MUCH FUN LIKE THIS.

PS. If anyone knows how YOU can Double or triple the Enemy Forces in the citys/towns of a domination mission now that would be worth playing.

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about! I couldn't agree more. I don't like respawns either, that's why I've been working for months now on a PvP AAS mission that is somewhat like PR, where the vehicles have long respawn times, you can transport ammo crates and so on. and to replace unit respawn I intend to implement a medevac system that spawns an immortal medic near you when you are incapacitated who draggs you out of the firezone, into a medevac chopper nearby (engines running) which flies to base and revives you there at the field hospital...

..while YOU (the incapacitated one) experience all that from this point of view:

The mission itself is done, it's almost like a movie by now. Could need an improvement here and there instead of my provisory solutions, but I definetly need assistance from the script-guru's here *cough cough wink* to make the medevac thingy work. can someone show me how to do it?

(p.s.: no thread hijacking intended, I just thought you might like to see this approach of instant-respawn-evasion as well)

hey, the only thing I would want to see is the old days back (OFP) where people did not lock thier rooms. Players played in open rooms with other players made missions just playing the game the was it was ment to be played. HARD CORE COOP! no respawns,limited resources and multiple objectives to get the job done!

Warefare/domination are played in most of the open rooms! I hate warefare:mad: and domination if you have more then 4 players in a room well it's not that hard:confused: One good bluefor chopper/jet can take out most of the armor in a city/town in less the 1 minute so what fun is that! Most domination missions you have multiple bluefor choppers and jets going to town. Just to have a few foot soilders take control and then move to the next city/town to do it all over again. That's not fun for me!:cool: I am trying to make a domination mission that will play like the old OFP days. limited units, limited ammo and limited vehicles to get the job done for each city/town. I am trying to have different opfor units in each area so you will have no clue what is in the city. Right now you know how much of what is in most areas with domination mission. This is going to be a work in progress. Scripting in not a strong point for me but making well balanced missions are.

You should try out War In Takistan AVIBIRD. It's great for small scale tactical group action with limited resources and really enjoyable gameplay.
