Ability for AI to target my choice of target

As a player I can fire at most things, but I'm unable to get the AI to fire at certain targets even though they have the weapons.

Example.

There is an enemy tank possibly empty (it is) but we don't know for sure as it's stationary. My AI have AT weapons, I don't.

Unless I've missed something I can't tell them to take out the tank unless it's manned.

If there is small building that may hold information how do I get them to fire an rpg at that building.

I know some of this can be done with scripting but it should be part of the basic command structure.

Use target menu (2) then press 0 to go into non-enemy target list.

Been there since 2001.

The "Non-enemy target list" is made up of my team mates.
