Uav ah-6x?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to use the AH-6X as a UAV instead of the MQ-9? Im sure in one of the tutorials for Arma 2 OA you can use it as a UAV. I want to use it in a mission I am making as the MQ-9 searches a wide area and moves around a lot and the AH-6X would be perfect for what I want to do... If anyone knows please help me out...

P.S: Sorry if its in wrong part of the forums couldn't clearly see any other appropriate ones...

Thanks!

Yes you can. Put on map soldier(player), empty object-car, uav terminal, backpack, ulb-ah-6x and ulb module. Then synchronize ulb modul with soldier, ah6x, and empty obiect. Drag blue lines. And thats all. Wenn soldier go to that empty object in his action menu you can use that ulb.

Ps: wenn i write empty object i was thinking-only 1 object: car or terminal or backpack etc. :)

and insteresting note, unlike the UAV you can simply synch the ULB module to player and AH6x and the player can acess the ULB anywhere without a vehicle. (make sure to set the AH6x Blufor and FLYING (not empty)

Edit: Also if you want to Avoid the AH6x being detected by hostiles you can increase it's altitude by using

this FlyInHeight 000;

In the init of the ah6x Set the 000 to any number you like (height in meters). when you give it a move order via the map, it will climb to the asigned altitude. :)

Also, when using the ULB module, you can put the player in an AH64 or AH1z and when he switches the ULB mode he can target weapons from long range from the chopper. (the UAV becomes a designator for the Attack choper)
