How to disable baf and pmc

I get into this server that keeps on kicking me because of signature check "18:17:02 Player Fabrix: Wrong signature for file PMC\addons\dubbingradio_pmc.pbo"

It's the only server i'm getting kicked from and they say it's because baf and pmc add ons that i got through gamers gate. arma 2 and OA are hard copies. This is what they say, quote:

"This seems to happen quite a bit with the Steam version of those add-ons. It appears to be bugged with the newer signature checks. I don't think most servers are using those new signature checks, which would explain why you can play in other servers."

Now, they asked me to uninstall baf and pmc, but i don't want to because i play in other servers that require them, and because there must be another way around. I tried modifying the target line in the OA short cut but keeps loading up with the mods. I tried to disable them through the expansion tab when you start up the game but of course they are greyed out.

How do i do it without uninstalling them?

Please help me.

If you dont use Steam you can edit your shourtcut or copy it to make a new.

Right click the shortcut and go to properties. If PMC is your problem, in target - just leave out the PMC bit

Your shortcut will look something like this

"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2oa.exe" -mod=PMC -nosplash

Edit it to look like this

"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2oa.exe" -nosplash

Not sure that will work. Aren't the BAF/PMC loaded anyway.

What about temporarily renaming the BAF/PMC folders. Might not work with steam version though.

Thank you all for your replay, renaming the shortcut is what i tried already in my original post but OA keeps loading them.

I found a temporary (i hope for a patch) solution. Simply drag and drop the 2 baf and pmc folders on to the desktop for when i want to play in that server and once i'm done re drag them to the original position C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 folder.

How do i do that? mine are not steam downloaded, but gamers gate, so i don't see the option. i'm re-downL 159 update, i'll re run it to see if something change.

Re updated everything but didn't change a thing, still getting kicked, so i guess i'll have to manually drag off the folders of the 2 add ons every time i want to play in that server.
