Cumboy 0 Posted May 22, 2002 Hi all, I know everyone hates me....and I've given up trying to hide....however I still think I have the ability to create half decent aviation OFP missions (which are a rarity) so I'm still at it..... I hope you all enjoy this one....quite an original concept... 'Hunter-Killer' puts you flying a OH-58D Kiowa Warrior from the 3rd/17th Air Cavalry on armed reconnaissance flights scouting, designating artillery and providing light fire support throughout the war torn island of Everon - Uses a custom designed script for artillery fire missions - Plenty of cutscenes for those cinematic buffs out there - Above all, original concept not yet performed in any official release Any and all comments are welcome.....either here or at ofpcumboy@hotmail.com Download from here... http://www.sphosting.com/cumboy/Missions/ BTW thanks to Placebo for the tip on sphosting...i just didnt think of that for some reason... FetishFool 0 Posted May 22, 2002 You did a similiar mission like this one, no? The mission was to fly a Blackhawk around Malden, and assist when needed. I'd like to see a mission or cutscene based on the battle sequence in Attack of the Clones. Especially where large ships dropped armored units right in the middle of battle. I've been working on a helicopter mission myself involving a young Russian pilot named Sergi who is a MI24 gunner in a mission dubbed "Hind sight is always 20/20". Its almost done except for implementing the camera work and dialogue i'd like to add. I could use some help with cut scenes. They would add flavor to what is only a 20min mission.-if done correctly. People here have helped me with object placement, but i still cant get the secretary (Sergi's girlfreind) to sit in a chair and use the phone.-i've tried all the obvious, but to no avail.:( It took me awhile, but i figured out how to slow the Helo down so i can actually shoot something. The included Kiowa info in the zip-folder was also a cool addition. Mission I'd like to see you make: Something similar to 5th Aviation using the chinook. Cumboy: If you want to make another aviation-mission then I suggest this: Player as AH-64 pilot. Fly escort for convoys (protect against ambushes), chinook-support etc, supress the enemy while a Blackhawk extracts soldiers on the ground..... but first you have to get to your Apache.... -just a thought Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
