Arma 2 to OA: Import controls?

Is it possible to import my ArmA 2 controlls into op arrowhead? Recently purchased both on steam and just finished A2 . . . figured I'd throw down on OA but none of my controls transferred over. Wouldn't be a big deal if this were BF2BC2 or something, but it took me two days to get my controls dialed in on ArmA 2!

I only know that OA´s controls are a bit different (enhanced like zeroing sights etc.) so I wouldn´t recommend it.

I just did that. Open this config file where you find all keys in. Better make a copy before.

Then copy only the key-lines from the A2 into the OA file and save it. It's working fine so far.

Follow this process:

1.) Gather a sheet of paper and a pen or pencil

2.) Open the Arma 2 controls screen

3.) Write down every control and its corresponding keymap

4.) Close A2, open OA.

5.) Open controls screen

6.) Transcribe from your written keys into the the new controls.

7.) Save and enjoy.

I need to no if this is possible as well. I tried copying over the my documents\arma 2 but no luck. And unfortunately I do not have my old arma 2 installed anymore jsut the files for it, so starting it up and copying over manually will not work for me.

Just copying wont work.

You need to open the two cfgs side by side in notepad and then copy the relevant parts over.

Or even better, jump into the armoury and go through setting up Infantry, Aircraft and Ground Vehicles again while checking out the new features. You may find that you change something for the better this time around, I certainly did.
