Servers that actually allow addons?

I don't know if this is the right place to put this thread, but I've been wondereing, I usually play in the 7Cav Tactical Domination, and the Veterans gaming insurgency, And all of them don't accept addons, there's alot of stuff via vehciles to sounds that i would like to use, But not just in SP / User mission, So whats the word on this?

Serveradmins and clans don't want idiots come in and ruin the gameplay.

I guess thats the "only" reason.

I know many people like to use what ever they want and many addons are NOT ruining game play. But some addons do.

Try signing up for a clan that has private servers, then you might see a different side regarding addons.

My community's servers allow a ton of addons, especially our public #2 which is solely for playing addon based everything.

Plenty servers that do allow mods.

I can also recommend the SU built-in server browser, which has search field for mods, so you can search for servers that allow your favorite mods:

Also recommended for server admins to take a look at SU, as it makes handling of servers and clients with mods a lot easier and manageable.

I noticed that al kinds of cheating ranging from predator like TI sight to nukes on demand (sometimes right at start to teleport scripts happen on servers that allow addons quite often.

I personally can not recommend playing on servers with mods allowed exept a very few not game changing mods with signkey.

That has nothing to do with addons in general, but everything to do with the server admin choosing to leave his server wide open, and the crowd that visits the server.

Recommended to play on servers with signature protection enabled, and where someone has put at least minimal effort into making a good white-list.

Generally speaking, private servers seem to have this arranged better than public servers.

Are your servers PVP or coop? i prefer coop over everything

Well if you are looking for soundmods, a lot of servers allow them (IIRC). If you are looking to play with new vehicles/weapons, chances are you might want to find a community that does custom content nights/events/servers specifically and get to know them.
