Map making any easier?!

I wish Bohemia could make a simple map editor instead of going through so much time consuming stuff, everyone remember the map editors from age of empires and stronghold? how simple were they!

I live making maps itss just its takes up to much time to do a map, the process is ridiculous, i really would like to make a helmand province map

but why/who would buy VBS 2 then ? :-)

Yeah, the terrain editor in battlefield 1942 and Vietnam both were quite simple to use and learn.
