Brothertobious 10 Posted April 13, 2011 I am having a nightmare, I dl the patch 3 times from different places and this is the error I get this every time. I have just reinstalled Arma 2 and OA and patch to 1.57 then tried again. I rebooted after I unistalled. I am stuck any help would be great. Thanks BrotherTobious
Dwarden 1125 Posted April 13, 2011 it seems like the patch and it's components are extracted incorrectly thus it fail to even start patching i would suspect problem with file / directory acces rights or some security suite etc.
sander 14 Posted April 13, 2011 The same problem has occurred some time back when I installed Arma II on a laptop with a slower harddrive. This error message seems to be generated when the timestamp of the PBO and BISIGN file differ (eg one having 12:01 and the other 12:02). As the application of the patch kept failing on different files, I eventually solved it by continuously copying files to a back up and reapplying the patch over and over while restoring previous versions till finally all the paired files happened to have identical timestamps.
