dr_zakharotta 10 Posted April 8, 2011 (edited) Hello, I've been playing Arma for a while now, and while I acknowledge that ACE is a super kick-ass mod, my machine can't run the game smoothly with ACE. On my late laptop, it used to be fine, right till the point where windows wont open up. So, I'm giving this thread to the people with licensed copies of Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead stock game ver. 1.50.70996 (visible in lower right corner of main menu) so we can play with eachother. Now, preference goes to those from Germany or Europe, since I'm from Egypt, and the lag becomes unbearable with servers from the States. As such, I will play any game mode with participants, and also, missions designed in the editor will be shared without fear of incompatible versions. Emphasis on tactical gameplay is appreciated, afterall, arma is a sim. I'm gonna design ranges for weapons testing, mock-up (rather makeshift) CQB halls (not this one which I designed) , but pretty much like 7-75th Ranger Regiment school CQB (which by the way was a neat experience, sadly I couldnt stick around since ACE effed up my older laptop and I cant keep buying latops for a mod!).... So, if any of you guys happen to have the version and need company, you may post here prior to creating a server, and hopefully I'll be able to join. gossamersolid 155 Posted April 9, 2011 ACE can't "eff up" a laptop... If your laptop died or windows failed on it, it was related to something else or user error. Also as Defunkt pointed out, why aren't you on the latest version? It has many fixes. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

There's just soo much more content in having ArmA² & ArmA² Operation Arrowhead ( AKA Combined Ops ). don't worry about the 'LOLZORZ', its not even funny, nor close to witty.... ...Syn...
