How to order gunner to switch main gun's ammo type when being a TC?

When I'm commanding a Bradly, I can do that through proper option in action menu, but when it comes to the abrams, no similar options avaliable. It's ridiculous when dealing with groups of soldier using sabot. Can anyone help me?

Most of such miscellaneous stuff is in the 6 menu.

of course in the 6 menu you have 15 "open door" actions in the first page and on page 2 you get what you are actually looking for...

Hi all

When commanding a vehicle:

To get AI in a crewed vehicle to switch weapon type the default [F] key same as with you switching weapon.

To get AI in a crewed vehicle to switch weapon ammunition type use the action menu same as with you switching ammo in say a grenade launcher, or being the gunners seat and switching ammo type.

What mission are you playing?

Are you in the commanders position or the gunners position?

Try this-

Go to the gunners position. He has Sabot (top right).

Click your mouse wheel and select 'Reload HE rounds'-

The ammo will change to HE-

(You can go back to the commanders position now)

Later, if you want Sabot again, go to Gunners position, click mouse wheel and select 'Reload Sabot'-

You can now go back to commanders position..:)

Nope, it's there for me in vanilla CO 1.57

Just make sure you are selecting the gunner and not someone else.

You need to make sure your gunner has the main Cannon selected (M256) not the Coax (M240). If your gunner has the Coax selected you will not receive the option to < Reload HE rounds > from the action menu.

To recap:

1) Playing as the commander; make sure your gunner has the main gun selected (M256) use < CTRL + F > to swtich gunner weapon.

2) Select you gunner and only your gunner using the function keys ( F2, F3 etc )

3) Press < 6 > to bring up the gunner's action menu.

4) Select < Reload HE Rounds > from the action menu; using the < 0 > key to view more options if neccessary

5) Get your kill on.

Exactly. You have to make sure the Main gun is selected

I´m not sure if this is ACE mod, but I then have multiple options

Reload Sabot

Load HE

If i want to switch i have to choose Load HE

Seems problem's solved:

1. selete gunner using proper function key.

2. press "6" key.

3. "reload XXX" option appears, and selete it.

I've tried both vanlia OA and with ACE.
