Where are all the new addons

So why has everything gone so quiet, is Oxygen difficult to use? Only Kegetys has released an Oxygen created Unit (Hawk)!!!

Is there any release dates for oxygen created addons on the cards?

Also, whats happened to ofpinternals - is it dead?

i would assume most people that have oxygen are in mod teams already, and people in mod teams very rarely release work outside of their mod.

Damn good point CK...I've been wondering the same thing...after all the hoo-ha about Oxygen not being released, now that it's out hardly anying is doing anything with it!

Come on O2 modmakers, extra the digit!

Yep, lots of hype and screenshots and not a single new unit after the hawk.

Maybe they're too hard projects the modders have started. They could have done something simple in the beginning and not start with these lunatic Operation Flightpoint units wink.gif

How many people, not involved in actual MODs (freelancers or whatever), got Oxygen?

The Big MOD guys will only release their stuff once the entire MOD is complete, except for a few like G8 lads.

Well, as I can't say I have gotten O2, I won't.

But anyway, you do know that it is possible for people with O2 to make several projects?

They can make UnitName for their mod, and develop AnotherUnit on their own.

I'm making vehicles for our MOD, but I will make other things as well. And I promise that these other things will be released as soon as they are finished

yes i do realize that but in my many years of gaming i have found that most people who are on modding team dedicate their work solely to that and don't usually whip together something totally unrelated to that mod team. people are busy, i can imagine how long working on one for the mod must work, so they probably don't have time for unrelated ones.

Well, not me. I have a strange way of getting involved with alot of projects at once. And I always finish what I start.

Stuff I am doing now range from graphics/models for 2 computer games (amateur, not anywhere near BIS class =)

Models for the OWN MOD, models for Zodiak Productions.

A small-time 2D game with the RM2K tools. (http://www.gamingw.net/ if you want to know more about the tool)

And me & my friend have already begun planning for a campaign for Neverwinter Nights, when that is released =)

I have time for all of these projects and school, so I think that if they really put their mind to it, all of the MOD - modellers can make other things to be released freely...

I'm surprised mode teams haven't released a new O2 unit or two as a teaser to drum up interest in their mods...

You know, like how BIS releases demos...

This is what bugs me most, since addons in OFP aren't changing the game code why won't they give us O2 addons. Modding is a bit different for games like Half-Life since usually you change the code and so on. I hate to see it if the big mods spend a couple of months to get all addons complete instead of releasing addons that are already done, and when the mod would be completed they would release the final pack with latest version of addons.
