ralphwiggum 6 Posted May 15, 2002 i was watching Entertainment Tonight on tv while getting something to drink, and they said they will show some clips from 2 sequels fo that movie the Matrix. what is your opinion of that movie? also the show featured new 007 clip, which i saw last 2 seconds...what is your opinion on 007? The matrix, i wouldnt mind seeing sequals for, but i honestly dont see what more they can do with them now that Neo is "The One" which pretty much makes all agents dead where they stand. 007, i can hardly wait for. Nic 0 Posted May 15, 2002 I would have to agree with Aculaud, what else can they really do with The Matrix. The problem has been solved. What they should do is release a version of the original movie with the dumbass ending cut out, that was one of the gayest endings to one of the coolest movies(him flying away). It looked totally stupid and they should apologize. Other than that and the fact that they were creating power from humans didnt make any sense the movie kicked some major ass. It would be very hard to make a sequal in my opinion. I am looking forward to another 007 though, those movies are always pretty sweet. As for Episode II Attack of the Clones, not lookin forward whatsoever. The name sucks,for one, but besides that it will probably be like the previous and not follow the last three episodes at all. Then again, reviews commonly don't mean jack shit and the movie will probably be worth watching for the action and effects alone. As for Matrix, there are many ways a sequal can take. Just because Neo is the chosen, does not mean he is in total control. Jesus was the chosen one to, and that bugger got nailed to the cross and stuck with a spear. So, it could be interesting... Yes, Neo is the choosen one, but the Matrix still exists and there is still much adversity to overcome. Don't you think that the machines will try to figure out a new way to counter the resistance? Tex -USMC- 0 Posted May 15, 2002 Alot of people liked the Matrix for its special effects and fight scenes, but I was more impressed with the creativity of the plot and the way the characters were (almost) cliche free. I mean, give Industrial Light and Magic enough money, and they will crank out stuff that would put the Matrix's effects to shame.
