vilas 477 Posted February 17, 2011 (edited) i have installed 1.57 yesterday i toy a little in Editor making simple missions "i am team commander, i lead my soldiers to clean city" (close quaters fight) and lot of soldiers die because soldier behind opened fire not taking care that there are teammates in front of his barrel i happens very often , my own soldiers kill more my team mates than enemy since i have 1.57 before 1.57 i played from time to time Editor, and it never happened now they fire so agressive and brainless, no matter if own team soldiers are in front or not i decided to post new topic (cause i haven't found this issue) and because since i installed 1.57 toying in editor became impossible when soldiers told to move in column, condensed column (Police SWAT) when playing in open field it is not noticed easy, but when you enter city with squad ... you will get bullet in back very soon, not from enemy i tested mission at least ten times (8-10 policeman , big city on Chernarus or Sbrodj vs. "mafia") and every time in begging at least 2 policemen died fired by team mates behind them , in some missions i was killed too before we entered first street (they started to fire) i know that man units do not have viewgeo lod, since OA something changed ??? cause i see example for A2 do not have viewgeo lod too (responsible for AI eyes) so maybe before there was something "special" for AI to treat human units other way than box but now simply it is very annoying when play CQB Edited February 17, 2011 by vilas Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
dmarkwick 261 Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) I have to say that I haven't ever had one of my squad kill another squad member, but you say it happens a lot to you? That's strange :) I often think that FF doesn't happen enough in A2, I occasionally see the odd message come up and once I was even killed by one of my own Apaches, but I thnk it was proximity to enemy rather than mistaken identity.
