One key, two computers?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I was just wondering if I am able to install my copy of Operation Arrowhead on my second PC?

My brother wanted to try it out on LAN before deciding to buy it.

Will I encounter problems if I do?

Thanks in advance.

Nope. One PC per key.

As Mosh says, one key = one install. Otherwise yes, you will run into problems.

FADE will activate. A quick search will show you what that will do to both of your copies. :p

Oh I see.

But let's say I install it on my second pc and fade will be activated on both of them. Can I just uninstall it on both and then install it on the first one again?

And it's back to normal?

Not saying I will install it on my second pc becasue this sure does sound annoying, just wondering.

You can install it on as many pc's as you want, as long as you do not run any of them at the same time and try multiplayer, even lan activates fade.

I'm not sure that once Fade is activated, it remains activated. You might be able to play with Fade activated for evaluation purposes, then uninstall from the second PC and your first might be back to OK. It might not be, but it would be a shame to punish the victim of a stolen key in this way, and BIS are nice guys :)

One licence per PC, the question has been answered so there is no no need to discuss this even further. Especially not on how about to recover from FADE.
