How to Place Men where you want in a building

Recommended Posts

Is there a way I can walk into a building copy the exact location where I am standing and facing - then use that in the ini for a OPFOR so I can place them in building where i want them ?

Anyone know if this is possible and how ?

Cheers

Another question

if I placed a Group of OPFOR and I used the following:-

this setPos ((position this nearestObject 12061) buildingPos Random 15)

Would the squad all be in the same place or would they all be random locations?

If not random is ther a way i can place a Group squad in lots of locations in a building ?

Cheers

http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/copyToClipboard

copyToClipboard format ["this setPosATL %1;this setDir %2",getPosATL player, getDir player]

LOL i need a schematic. I don't understand how can i achieve this, its much easier than using camera.sqs debug cam for setting positions.

How should i use the copytoclipboard command? Can anyone give me the steps?

1. Make a radio trigger with that in the onAct field.

2. Preview

3. Run to the wanted spot

4. Use the radio trigger

5. Exit preview

6. Paste into the object's init field
