Can you play music during briefing?

Can you play music during briefing? I can find anything on this.

assuming you know how to add cfgSounds to your description.ext.

I don't think it's that easy. Even if I put playMusic into the briefing sqf, it won't play until you close the briefing.

i tried to get 'music' to work a while back.. but it never liked to run unless it can from a .pbo for me.. but playsound plays whenever.. where ever..

Hmmmm, I still cannot get this to work during the briefing. I even tried it as a pbo, but it won't play until after I click "continue" on the briefing map. And yes to be sure, I commented out the playMusic, added my track to CfgSound, and it's a lot louder as expected when utilized that way. I tried putting 'playSound' in the init.sqf before the call to briefing.sqf, and also within briefing.sqf (not at the same time). So the question is what else can I try to make it work. I know this is Sick1's question, but I'm curious too :)

oops.. missed that one... i have never tried.. i do not think the map / mission scripts are actually running at briefing? loaded yes.. running no..
