Eclipse4349 0 Posted December 27, 2010 (edited) That was supposed to say "walking or proning"... stupid spellcheck... There have been numerous times that I have found myself switching weapons from a rifle to a launcher, then being confronted with a more immediate threat that requires me to take immediate cover. Sometimes I have also switched by accident in the heat of battle, in which case, I have to wait for the process to finish, all the while being a sitting (or standing) duck. We should be able to interrupt other actions and move, crouch, or go prone, regardless of what other action is being performed. Thanks. :) Edited December 29, 2010 by Eclipse4349
cychou 11 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) absolutely, the weapon switch in hot situation is terrible. the player should be able to change of position (lay down, stand up..) without being forced to switch his weapon. Each time we lose precious seconds needed for an emergency counter attack or to get cover.. Edited December 29, 2010 by cychou
Primarch 10 Posted January 1, 2011 The fix would be that BIS would separate the upper and lower body so they can do different animations. Don't know how hard that can be but it should be able to fix the animations.
TechnoTerrorist303 10 Posted January 3, 2011 Absolutely. I've had this before where I've selected my nlaw and got up off the ground to discover that I'm under fire from several places unable to hit the deck again until I stop manhandling that massive green tube. I'm pretty sure that in rl I'd be able to just drop it and dive for the dirt.
