metalcraze 290 Posted December 31, 2010 I think I found a cause for the issue in my case at least. Textures downscale in towns when there are a lot of units like civilians around. And my framerate is pretty good it happens too. I need to be less than a meter away from the texture for it to look normal again. This never happened before 1.57 (or the recent beta) I believe. Is there any way to stop them from downscaling?
ironhulk 10 Posted December 31, 2010 are you using a ATI card
metalcraze 290 Posted January 1, 2011 GTX260. I had issues like this before but only in case of low framerates. With 1.57 I have them even when FPS is 40+

Beagle 684 Posted January 1, 2011 I never had any problems running ArmA II on ATI. When ArmA II came out I could play it on a 3870. I replaced it with a 4870 only 1 year ago and still all runnign fine. But I don't exspect to get good performance at viewdistances over 3000m and that's why I simply don't set it so.
