james (J) 0 Posted December 7, 2010 hi I just completed the A2 OA tutorial on grenade launchers and it confused me a lot. the iorn sights/optics in the game where ether missalined, nonexsistant or too confusing to work out. can anyone please explain how to use the optics/ladder sight on grenade launchers? JSj 12 Posted December 8, 2010 Grenade launchers are totally useless, as there is no way to change the range setting, like you do with sniper rifles. I hope this will be fixed. And I have not noticed any difference between right clicking and using the optics button. What difference does this make?

Didn't they just fix/tweak the grenade launcher iron sights with PMC? The few times I've used it it seemed to be spot on for level targets. Each "notch" was 100m. What difference does this make? nope they are good you just need some practice. i've hit a moving player directly with a grenade before ;). in real life you can't adjust the range settings. There is a type of optic they use in real life but it was useless and just added more weight to the weapon. also it was plastic and it would break.
JSj 12 Posted December 8, 2010 (edited) Sure, you can practice until you can guess well enough to sometimes hit near a target. But in real life, these weapons have useable sights. I haven't tried the underbarrel M203:s in a long time, maybe they are fixed now? But the M32, the one you use in the tutorial, is useless in it's current state.
