x3kj 1247 Posted October 30, 2010 BIS released the unbinarized soldiermodel, which is very helpfull. I downloaded 2 mods and wanted to look how their model/ file structure looks like and as scale reference but both only have binarized models. Are there any other examples or usermade models for arma2, or mods with non-binarized models? Especially tracked vehicles with modelled tracks (similar to the M2A3 in OA) and handweapons kind regards
[frl]myke 14 Posted October 30, 2010 regarding all sorts of vehicles, you can directly use ArmA 1 sample models.
dm 9 Posted October 31, 2010 You really dont need the MLOD models to use as scale ref. You can do this with binarized models: 1. Choose 'create proxy' from the Create Menu. 2. Browse to your desired model. 3. With your newly created proxy selected, Choose "Show Proxy Objects" from the View Menu. 4. Profit. 5. From the View Menu, choose "Proxy Level" and slide the bar all the way to the left, this will show the highest detail res lod of the model.
x3kj 1247 Posted November 1, 2010 (edited) Ah nice, that will be handy. Thanks. Edit - it appears i'm doing something wrong, it only shows the bounding box (like i would if i import binarized stuff) Edited November 1, 2010 by Fennek
