Hamilton 0 Posted May 5, 2002 My problem is that OFP freezes for a half second now and then or should i say that its like the game lags. The problem shows up when im in SP mode and in MP, the AI guys behaves like there lagging. I have all the latest drivers for Graphics card, sound card and the latest 4in1 drivers too, but the game still lags or what i should call it. Any one that have any suggestions? Im runing on a AMD 1900+ with Epox 8KHA+ Motherboard, 512mb DDR memory, Leadtek GF3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mister Frag 0 Posted May 6, 2002 It could be that the game (or DirectX, actually) is polling for a joystick that isn't plugged in -- that is known to cause periodic freezing. If you have every had a joystick plugged into your system and configured, but don't have it plugged in right now, either plug it back in, or remove the joystick using the Game Controllers applet in the Control Panel. Hilandor 1 Posted May 6, 2002 i had a similar problem it was described as every 50 frames 1 would stick my problem ended up being my refresh rate for game and monitor were different i upped monitor to 85mhz and game runs at the same and i have no stutter or nothing now Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
