ovaron76 10 Posted October 27, 2010 Hi, after playing Arma 2 for a long time I've bought Arma 2 OA and installed it into the same directory like my normal Arma 2. The "old" Arma 2 does not need the CD in drive for starting the game. Arma 2 OA now only starts if I insert the CD into my drive. Is there somewhere a setting to get the same behaviour from OA like the normal Arma 2 (starting game without the cd in drive)? Thanks, Ovaron

ovaron76 10 Posted October 27, 2010 Which version should I take? I've tried the newest from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php (ARMA2_OA_Build_74630.zip), but Arma2 OA still wants the CD to start. Thx, Ovaron

Thx, Ovaron Then you're starting the game wrong. Betas do not need the CD, period. Check your Arma2 installation folder for a new Beta shortcut. Start the game with that. Crimson_Raptor 0 Posted October 29, 2010 But if you use a BETA patch aren't you not allowed to play on the servers using that patch only?
wipman 1 Posted October 31, 2010 Hi, when i had installed the OA along with the ArmA2 forming the CO, i'd installed the last Alpha Patch of the OA, the 1.54 i think that was... and if im not wrong... i didn't had to have the OA DVD on the drive in order to play.
