You have been Kicked Out. Arma2.

Ok, I've looked everywhere, seen people having the same problem, but noone has a clue nor a solution.

Everytime I try to join any Arma2 Server, I get a message saying either:

Session Lost.

or

You have been kicked out.

Game's new, never player before, installed, patched to 1.05, then 1.07.

Patches DLed from Armaholic.com

No addons installed.

DVD version.

Arma1 has worked since the first day and never disappointed me.

Happens only to Arma2 (Havent checked OA, because I dont have it)

Note: I had some Errors during patching. I pressed "ignore" several times and patch "Has been applied succesfully"

Since you had errors I presume they were about a file called missions_e.pbo? If you haven't already downloaded and installed the fix for that, get it here. That should help. ;)

Edit: Never mind, saw it was about the 1.07 patch. It's odd that you got errors with that, I never did. Perhaps a reinstall is in order?

It may not be the case, but MAYBE you are kicked because of "modified" PBO files?

Which may be a result of using "wrong" patches - at least i had similar problem, although i don't recall any errors during patching.

Check this post.

(in short - when i was patching from 1.00 to 1.05, and then from 1.05 to 1.07, it resulted in problems with some of the PBO files,

but later i downloaded and used ONLY patch 1.00 to 1.07 and everything was fine).

Maybe you are suffering from the same problem.

So i suggest you reinstall your ArmA2, and use only patch 1.00 to 1.07.

I've read all the above mentioned threads before creating my own.

As you can see only ONE of them is ended with a working solution.

In case of the person, BattlEye was an issue.

However, this solution didn't work in my case.

I've reinstalled BattlEye. Every server has a green dot next to it.

Nothing Has Changed.

This week I will try a 5133p39's solution.

Finally, time to end this thread, as it turned out to be...

Yes, that's right, the BI community once again proved to be quick, helpfull and mature.

Here are the steps that led to victory:

1. Reinstall

2. Patch 1.00 to 1.07 (No errors at all)

3. Install of BattleEye (Above mentioned patch does not include it)

4. Done.

Suprisingly, not only the game allows me to join any server, but also the performance has improved significantly.

Used to play on high (aa off, ppe off), now it's on very high (aa off, ppe off).
