enad 11 Posted October 21, 2010 200% 3D Res is really tough to run. I got a GTX 480, i5 at 4.0Ghz, 4GB RAM, and run the game at 2048x1152, I only get about 30-35 FPS at 200% 3D Res. I run it at 100-133% 3D Res. OA seems to have huge problems with dual GPU cards, my 4870x2 ran ArmA 2 amazingly, yet OA ran horribly.
grillob3 11 Posted October 21, 2010 I just got a lcd after years using a crt and the game was looking very realistic now on the lcd looks like kinda a cartoon style! But when i change the 3d resolution looks way better! And on one 5970 i got at 1600x900 all very high 60 fps solid on lots of missions!Drops a little when there is to much AI!But i always had the 3d res on my crt(1600x900) at 100%! Change the arma2oa.exe to arma2.exe plus -nosplash -maxmem=4095 -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=4 -winxp That how i got solid fps! Thanks
