the_antipop 10 Posted October 7, 2010 Hey all, Today I installed a 100gb SSD for Windows and ArmA 2. Now. I don't want to fill the ArmA folder on the SSD with mods, so I thought I'd put them on another HDD, and in target put -mod=D:\mods\@Mod... However, that does not work. Now, I've heard of junctioning in Windows 7? Putting a 'false' folder in my ArmA directory, but the files are actually located on other HDD.... Does anyone know how to do this? I've tried chucking a shortcut of the @Mod in the ArmA 2 directory, still didn't work. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks Anti
=wfl= sgt bilko 10 Posted October 7, 2010 Hmmmm wouldn't you benefit more by putting the mods and original addons folders on the ssd?
the_antipop 10 Posted October 7, 2010 I found a fix. ArmA 2 Launcher. @Bilko. Yeah, it would benefit, but I don't want to take up precious space on my SSD for ArmA addons...
Tom_48_97 523 Posted October 7, 2010 You can take a look here: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma2:_Startup_Parameters#Modifications But to get a real up of performance, you should make a Raid system (hardware by preference)
