A convoy ventures into hostile territory. The soft vehicles will be an easy target for vengeful militias and mines. The choice is yours. The mission is randomized for replayability and may be played as SP or MP with 23 playable slots, in several modes. Guardian was built and tested as a hosted game. Functionality on a dedicated server is not guaranteed. nominesine 0 Posted September 22, 2010 The mission is still undergoing development, even though the basig frame is working as it should. Feedback is more than welcome.
laggy 0 Posted September 22, 2010 Have tried this in both SP and MP hosted. Good and simple (in a positive way) mission. ArmA2 OA battle at its best. Atmospheric (custom sound files) and with a realistic feel. Good size of enemy presence, although I know it varies due to randomness. Briefing, mission and everything was great during my tries. Playable as many different units in a quite large operation. Really like the NO RESPAWN touch, makes you focus much more. No bugs encountered from my POV. This mission will be a modern classic after a few cosmetic upgrades, but no changes are really necessary IMO. Great work! Laggy

nominesine 0 Posted September 23, 2010 Thank you very much. Version 0.90 is released and the BETA tag has been removed. Guardian is now updated with random civilians, placing remotely detonated IED's in the landscape. Watch out for garbage piles and other unpleasant devices burried in the ground... neojd[ny] 10 Posted September 23, 2010 I dont know but for me the textures are all fucked up on this mission -.- ?
Zipper5 74 Posted September 23, 2010 You haven't bought the BAF DLC, have you? In that case you only have BAF Lite, which limits the textures to 64x64 on the new units and vehicles.
nominesine 0 Posted September 23, 2010 The texture problem you mentioned is most likely caused by a missing addon, as mentioned. You need to buy and download BAF to enjoy the mission with high quality textures. If you chose to play as an insurgent or a U.S soldier the texture bug will not be as apparent, since most brits will be appearing at long distances.
nominesine 0 Posted September 26, 2010 (edited) MISSION UPDATED TO 1.0: I added another playable faction as I upgraded the mission to version 1.0. You may now take the role of the local resistance, fighting against OPFOR and BLUFOR in MP games. Slightly stronger oposition in SP games. Feedback is still welcome. Future upgrades may follow...
