Gunter Severloh 4067 Posted August 31, 2010 I'm not going to say no you cant, i'm just suggesting you do it yourself cuz then you know its rearmed, but im sure Ai could do it, but you will have to tell them to get the truck, disembark when they get there, get into the static defense, and then there might be a option in his menu under 6 where you can tell him to rearm, but if not, then theres not. Plus you got to make sure the truck is close enough to the thing other wise it wont do it. I've tested it in the editor - I placed an ammo truck very close to a defence (and when I fired it, it self-rearmed as it should). Then when I tell my AI teammate to get in, it does not self-rearm. There is an option to tell the AI to rearm at the ammo truck though, so I tell the AI to do this and he responds 'Roger'. But 10 mins waiting and not one shell has been armed into the defence.:( I was wondering if there was a unusual way of using several commands to finally get the AI to rearm but it doesn’t seem likely Edited August 31, 2010 by vinc3nt Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Wolfrug 0 Posted September 3, 2010 The ammo truck only rearms if its rear is facing towards the unit to be rearmed - and odd nod to realism, considering the whole rearming bit is practically magic anwyay, but there you have it. In the editor, try parking the truck backwards towards the static defence and see if it rearms then (if it still doesn't, then it's a bug). Big Dawg KS 6 Posted September 3, 2010 Rearm/refuel/repair orders require the AI to move the vehicle to a certain position and complete that move before performing the action.
