Freerider117 10 Posted August 15, 2010 Hi everyone Basically i have just started up a community under the name of TaskForce. However it is very different to what is already out there.. here is some of the basic info What is Taskforce?? TaskForce is an online community that brings clans and outside players together to play realistic PVP set missions How Does it Work?? TaskForce designs the mission to be used so there is no arguments about rules and regulations between clans. Missions are based on real world tactics and realistic stratergies. Its not always about wiping out the other team!. E.G Blufor must capture a Taliban leader with minimal losses. Redfor must inflict as many casualties as possible on Blufor. If Blufor receive unacceptable losses it is a win for Redfor. Other Elements News teams A small contingent will be civilian news reporters who play an active role on operations. any death of a reporter will have significant reflections onto the side that kill them. in some cases them loosing the game there and then!! The job of the reporters is to assess the battle and decide in their own mind who has won whilst recording the battle to be put on youtube as a new report. Who can Join??? Any ArmA2 clan that plays realistically and tactically can take part. However bear in mind TaskForce will set the rules of engagement. Want in??? I am doing this because i know there are alot of tactical clans that dont often get involved with PVP for the following reasons. Cheating Arguments between clans Questionable rules It takes alot of negotiation and time!
