New netcode ?

I am wondering will there be a new patch out prior to the release of "Resistance" that will contain the new netcode. And allow the community to test it for BIS ? If "no" has anyone been testing the new netcode and how well has it been performing ? Thx...

I am curious about the this as well, ever since I read:

Marek Spanel - We’re going to start the MP Test of the new Resistance netcode soon, and every owner of Operation Flashpoint can join in with the testing. We believe the best results come from wide testing across the Internet.

The interview is (as I post this) only 13 days old, so "soon" is probably a little more time yet.

I read that interview too...wonder if we will get to test the entire code contents or just bits and pieces?

Well, I doubt that it will take too long, till they start this (Beta-) Test. Resistance is supposed to have this new netcode and its release is end of June. To get it on the shelf in time they have to freeze the source code latest early June. To be efficient in testing and to have enough time to implement fixes/changes the Beta-phase should last at least two weeks, the longer the better. However, for such a major change in source code they should consider to test at least another iteration before the release, what would add about another week to the Beta-phase.

Summing up all this estimations(!!!, I guess Beta phase would start latest mid May (~10th-20th).

I hope it is close. I love the MP games and I am hanging out for this patch. At worst scenerio I will get it when Resistance comes out... but lets hope we get a go at tesitng it for them.
