Tozzifan 0 Posted August 7, 2010 Hi, meanwhile in the mountains searching and destroying AAs (I had already destroyed 2 ZSUs and one Shilka), more than once has happened that suddenly the debriefing (failed) mission screen appeared, and I was compelled to start the mission over (saves unavailable) what has happened? I did not hear shots on the hull, nor any copilot or instruments warning I was hovering very low in blue territory (IIRC all the times I was maneuvering the ULB) no infantry seemed to be in range thanks
rok 0 Posted August 7, 2010 There's a time limit (about 45 minutes): http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=101463
Tozzifan 0 Posted August 7, 2010 (edited) oops, I missed that thread and I miss the sense of a time limit in a seek and destroy mission as well...! so much for realism (again), amd just on the side of arcadish gameplay Edited August 7, 2010 by Tozzifan
jakerod 254 Posted August 7, 2010 oops, I missed that threadand I miss the sense of a time limit in a seek and destroy mission as well...! so much for realism (again), amd just on the side of arcadish gameplay Its not arcadish. The next mission you play takes place 1 hour after that mission I believe. It would be kind of stupid to play the first mission until 2200 and then play the next at 2100. Last time I checked AH-64s lack time travel capabilities. Think of it this way. You had 45 minutes to destroy what you needed and then RTB to be ready for the next level. They should've mentioned it somewhere but they didn't. 45 minutes is plenty of time to beat it.
