Aculaud 0 Posted April 26, 2002 Far moreso than they should be. Any way to sharpen them back up?

R. Gerschwarzenge 0 Posted April 26, 2002 Have you changed resolution lately? I have the same problem with some resolutions and I believe it's caused by the way that OFP handles mipmap levels.
ALDEGA 0 Posted April 26, 2002 If you've got an nvidia videocard, go to the nvidia control panel and set texture quality to "best".
Aculaud 0 Posted April 26, 2002 Yeah, i have a GeForce 3 Ti 200. I read something on The Avon Lady's FAQ about changing a mipmap setting to increase sharpness, but i couldnt find it anywhere
Aculaud 0 Posted April 26, 2002 also, i looked under my video cards control pannel, and i didnt see anything about increasing texture quality
Major Fubar 0 Posted April 27, 2002 Is everything else OK? I had a similar problem once where all overlay features (compass, position markers) went really blurry. I fixed it by updating my video drivers (but I'm assuming youve got latest Direct X and video drivers)...?
ALDEGA 0 Posted April 27, 2002 (edited) Screenshot from NVIDIA control panel (it's in Dutch, but all the controls are the same in English. I'm sure you will be able to recognize them). Go to "additional settings", then to "Direct3D". Then set mipmap detail to "best quality". Edited December 10, 2011 by ALDEGA
