Bravo33 0 Posted July 29, 2010 Ive just invested in a Lilliput 7" monitor. Great for Teamspeak but is there any way to drag the compass and or the map to the secondary monitor whilst still in game on the main monitor?

kylania 568 Posted July 29, 2010 Can a soldier run around fully functional while looking at a compass or map constantly? :)
walker 0 Posted July 29, 2010 Hi all Using a map and Compass Look at the map. See Objective or Waypoint. Take bearing to objective or waypoint from your current possition. If in MP and leading anounce: Line of March (LoM) maybe include the distance or a nearby landmark to the objective or waypoint. Look at compass Default [K] button and face the bearing. See a landmark in that diection move toward it. Repeat last untill objective or waypoint reached. Kind Regards walker
Bravo33 0 Posted July 29, 2010 Gentlemen, constructive comments only please. Walker I agree entirely, but that was not the question. I have my humble reasons.
kylania 568 Posted July 29, 2010 Maybe just script a floating dialog to display the map + compass info or something?
Bravo33 0 Posted July 29, 2010 Kylania, thanks...Bit over my head, but, if you could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Luomu 10 Posted July 30, 2010 No multi monitor support, but here's a couple of tips for navigation. Maybe you know them already... - You can toggle the compass to stay on the screen, double tap K. - If your soldier is carrying a GPS hit Ctrl+M (check the keybind in menus) and you get a mini-map on screen. - If you are playing on easy enough difficulty you can shift-click on a map and set a temporary waypoint, you will see it and the distance in first person. [frl]myke 14 Posted July 30, 2010 It would be possible but as you can see upon the overwhelming feedback on this thread, no one is interested in it.
