Multiple players in multiplayer

Recommended Posts

Looking to create a VERY basic mission. Would like it to be co-op multiplayer.

Cannot for the life of me figure out the correct offering to the dark gods of chaos which will allow this herculean task to occur.

I have 2 bluforc men, both set to "playable". When i load the mission in multiplayer the lobby only shows one playable character.

Searching for this topic has been difficult hence this pathetic post.

If you can help i will name a child after you.

thanks

Try making one of the blufor as *player*.

Negative ghost rider - does not work. One man is "Player" the other "Playable". Only 1 single character shows up in the lobby screen and the blufor side has a 1/1.

I believe you need at least 1 an actual player then the rest can be playable for MP to actually work.

You don't have to pretend to make an offering to the gods here to get help :p. We will gladly offer help as long as you have searched.

What map are you making this on? Ill make a example mission for you. OA only by the way.

on takistan in OA. It's wierd I would think it a pretty straight forward procedure you know but it has me mystified. If you can make a map for it that be great (just so i can see how it's done).

On a side note : I have grabbed other maps with co-op in them so I could look at them but they don't show up in the editor. I've put them into the missions AND mpmissions folders.

Thats because there is a different folder dedicated just for the editor located in

C:\Users\UserName\Documents\ArmA 2\missions

The mission must be dePBO and inside of a folder labeled correctly.

C:\Users\UserName\Documents\ArmA 2\missions\MyMission.Zargabad

Thats how the path name should look if your inside of your mission folder in the editor path.

Another little tip is to always -[sAVE]- the mission before you run it and never -[RESUME]- a mission this might show you the old layout sometimes!
