The world was devastated by a man made virus called ADIV-16. The worlds Nations and Governments split into two Governments The free world formed the UN ( United Nations) while the Communist governments and alike followed collectively under the UCN (United Communist Nations). The UCN Developed a virus that killed the host but reanimated the body in which they used to infect the world. The first recorded use of this viral weapon was in 2016 September 11th the UCN flew a stolen chopper into outer Berlin, onboard was patient zero who survived the crash infecting everyone in the surrounding area then it spread across Europe. Now the world is dead, its 37 years later, and small camps gave way to prosperous settlements. After years of fighting all settlements came together under one flag. They united under the Republic of Chernarus. But some old players are seeking to finish what they started. Now the Republic is under attack, the soul of Chernarus is dying and the future is bleak. Travel with the Republic as they fulfill their destiny.

22nd MEU is a Realism Unit in Arma 3. We strive to simulate the operation of an Marine Expeditionary Unit by using real world Marine organization and tactics. With that said, we are not a strict by the book gaming unit. Our primary goal is for our members to have fun within the policies and guidelines of our unit. Requirements: Minimum Age Required: 17 years old. (NO WAIVERS OR EXCEPTIONS GRANTED) Must have a valid copy of ArmA 3 and a valid Player ID. An invalid or missing Player ID will result in your application not being processed. Must have Teamspeak 3 and a working microphone. Ability to attend Unit wide events, taking place on Sundays at 2000 Eastern Time or Saturdays at 1500 Eastern Time. We do not allow Dual Clanning. Upon submitting an application, all applicants will be required to provide a valid first and last name. However, you are not required to provide your real first or last name. You can choose a fictional name, as long as it meets the following guidelines: We have Aviation, Navy Medical, JTAC, System Operators, and much much more! We are actively looking for outgoing and fun players who enjoy Marine Corps Realism. We currently have 14x 0311 Rifleman billets open! x1 Squad Systems Operator (More MOS/Jobs opening soon!) You do have to fill out an application and go through the forums but a recruiter can help walk you through it. Also we have a Boot Camp and Infantry Training Battalion(SOI). We're an English Arma 3 Community mostly based on Semi-Serious Milsim missions, and we normally play around 18:00-19:00 CEST. You will need to download TeamSpeak3 to join our ops, since we're using the Task Force Radio mod to give some extra immersion to our games. We mostly host our missions during the weekend, and we're still improving some of our mistakes managing the unit, but we are slowly getting there. We've been inactive for about 2 months so our playerbase has decreased a slight bit. Now that we're back, we're trying to recruit as most people as possible to get this back up and running though I think we can still enjoy ourselves with a moderate 8-15 active players for starters. So if you're interested, and if you also want to host some of your own missions in our unit, don't hesitate to check us out.
