Arma2 crash when i lick on controls?

Hey guys got a lil prob everytime i click on (Controls) in-game the game CTD everything els is ok, i have removed the profiles made a new profile and a no go the same thing any ideas?:confused:

hmm never had that but i did get CTD when I was setting my joystick controls.

instead of using - NEXT- and - PREVIOUS - just press ok

Are you using any other controllers (such as Joystick, etc..)?

lol oops i miss spelled it na i mean when i click on (Option-Controls=CTD) Video- Audio and the other ones work but not controls

none they are not pluged in

i can play the game ok i can play it all day but i cant change the keys

I sounds like there may be some sort of conflict (either device or config) that's causing it to go tits-up.....and you've ruled out hardware. At least that's my guess.

You haven't attempted to manually edit your config files, have you?

You might try a re-install and re-patch as needed. Be sure to delete your user and profile files (they should be somewhere like : My Doccuments/ArmA2 and /ArmA2 Other Profiles) and delete any ArmA folders in your Program Files directory. *keep in mind this will also nuke your saved games if you don't back them up

You can change controller settings by manually editing the file, but it's a bit of a pain to do.
