it all started when i posted my videos on the theard "legal violations by A3:Life" http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?184772-Legal-violations-by-A3L-Arma-3-life i am talking about the videos on my youtube channel i made to show everyone the copyright violations made by arma 3:life (they stole bus model from crysis 2, models from shift 2 etc) http://www.youtube.com/user/nocommentaryvideos1/videos now after i posted the videos, some members quoted me and wrote that the cars which Arma 3:life stole from citylife 3, aren´t made by the devs of citylife 3. first, i thought this: i mean citylife 3 does not want you to pay $30 to play on theyr server, but then someone posted this link: https://donation.cityliferpg.com/ okay, you maybe think now "its no problem when the models are made by citylife devs themselves" which i maybe agree. but then one guy posted this: https://donation.cityliferpg.com/vehicles/land/police/lamborghini-reventon-clpd-en.html THIS is the same police car from arma 3:life and shift 2! here is a screenshot of shift 2 police car: arma 3 Life devs also stole the police car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HG1gMZR7TOc&list=UU2KCV18drTzPEsxFiV8snag and now we see citylife 3 is making profit with models from other games too ? i dont know if citylife 3 devs and arma 3 life devs both directly stole the model from shift 2 file and ported it themself, or if citylife 3 started first the porting, then arma 3 life devs started stealing content from citylife 3 including this police car. but no matter how they stole it: the authors are the devs from shift 2. a former member of CL3: what is going on ? everyone steal models from other games and make profit with them now or one steal models from a game, put it into his mod and other modders start to steal from this mod with or without knowing that the origin of the models are from companies and not simple modders. soon arma 3 will be filled with pay-to-play mods or "buy from our ingame store any stolen carmodel" or "here pay $10 to use this weapon or this car which we have stolen from crysis 2, shift 2 and many other games" some modders already does not want to release theyr mod to the public because of this problem ! for real, something must be done against this.

yup i have and talked with them. they agree that it gets super hot, but they disagree that a fire can cause the COMPLETE collapse of a steel building. it can happen that the top of the building fall to the ground, but not cause the full collapse, especially when the building UNDER the hitzone is intact. we are talking about steel buildings, dunno how it is with other buildings, but firefighters are no architects or engineers. for technical questions, we should better ask architects, engineers (which already over 1700 agree that it was collapsed due to explosions not due to fire). oh and btw, firefighters who were on the WTC disagree with the "fire caused collapse" story ;)

i run win8.1 and first i didnt liked it, but after some times you get used to it and now im really fine with win8.1, but too bad that some games arent compatible with win8.1 for example gta IV doesnt work for me. other than that, its very nice :) but the really annoying thing with win8.1 is: skydrive. there was a problem for me when i started the laptop everytime, the window of skydrive opened immediatly after my laptop reached the desktop after starting and the skydrive window wont close + the button "cancel" didnt worked. i had to type a command to remove the window on every start but after a certain time, the problem was solved after a windows update was installed, the window of skydrive worked and was closed immediatly. im talking about this problem (except that there wasnt any errormessage): http://i.stack.imgur.com/1HTxY.jpg

since there are alot of life/rpg mods created for arma 3 and growing, same with the servers (more and more servers running life/rpg mods) what is your opinion about it ? do you welcome these type of mods/gamemodes in arma 3 ? or do you want them to leave arma 3 ? in my opinion, they should go to gta, why ? because gta has the environment for the life/rpg mode, gta has the vehicles and proper cities. life/rpg modes doesnt fit in arma 3. all the content in arma 3 isn´t really made for life/rpg modes. gta has proper car physics and car damage model. if you play life/rpg in gta, you can feel the life in it with all the stuff gta provides. gta is made for the life/rpg thing. arma 3 is made for military and wars. when i play life/rpg in arma 3, it just doesnt feel right, i still feel the military environment in it.

well, i dont get any FPS drop while dropping bombs or calling a jet via ZEUS, i dont think this is a FPS problem. if i select stratis in editor, empty map (only me as player and zeus module) and calling jet, only the jet stutter/lag, the FPS doesnt decrease and everything else runs fine during the jet flying, there is no single FPS drop, the stutter affects only the jet. same when i fly a jet myself and dropping a bomb, only the bomb stutter while flying/dropping to the ground, everything else runs fine without a single FPS decrease during the bomb drop. oh and when i fly myself a jet, the jet does not stutter, the jet fly smooth. maybe something animation related ?

hello, as most of you know, arma 3:life broke many EULA´s including from other companies/games by porting content from other games and stealing other arma 3 addons, claim it as theyr own work and make money with it (link: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?184772-Legal-violations-by-A3L-Arma-3-life) im interest to know how much this affected the community already and im sure others are interested too, so my question to all modders out there: would you still release your addons/mods/scripts etc to the public ? - Yes, simply yes - Yes, but i wont give permission so easy anymore and i will strongly license my work - No, since the case with a3:life, i stopped modding for arma 3 - No, but i still modding arma 3 myself and make private mods/addons/projects - Maybe, depents how the case with a3:life goes out, if it can be avioded in the future and if BI, the community etc care.

when i call jets via zeus fire support, the jets "lags" while flying even if the FPS is decent, even on empty stratis map with no units. same when dropping bombs with jet, the bombs "lags" while flying to the ground, anyone noticed it ?

lets see when BI release 64bit version of arma 3 (its confirmed), i hope it will change a little bit, atleast for singleplayer (since im a SP player)

i think this will never happen but still if they decide the replace the content with original ones, it doesnt change the fact that they used stolen content before and profit with them, they still need to pay for this.
