And why don't you buy licensed models that you can wear in A3 will go faster and RHS has already done so many times?

Thanks for the very counter productive posts, really helps us to stay motivated..... might just wait till Arma 5 instead since Arma 4 is a little bit too close for us and I don't think we are going to make that release window.....

Thanks for the kind words. AFAIK, the CROWS display only shows the gun's relative position to the front of the vehicle, so I don't think it shows the bearing anywhere on the screen. However, if someone can find a reference, we can probably put it in.

You are right 😃. I was not able to find any reference that indicates it also shows compass bearing, just the gun's relative position indeed. 👍🏻

  3. Hi, very much loving the M-ATV and vehicles with the CROWS system. So I was wondering if the compass bearing could be added to the UI, right now it is quite a long process of having to leave the gunner sight first, get the compass out and then quickly find it, then try and move the turret to that bearing, hope this can be considered.

I have a suggestion for a plane can it be the B52 bomber?

    No

oh yeah i forgot pls add the sr 71 too

    and No.

We don't take suggestions, and besides that, the SR-71 is way out of our time frame scope and serves to purpose in Arma at all. Same for the B-52, the maps are generally too small for heavy bombers (Doesn't mean the B-2 and B-1B are cancelled, those are still planned). But it would be a waste of our time and resources.

Very happy to see this release. Congratulations guys!

I do have a question though. Actually surprised no one asked this yet, but are you guys going to also release the Security Forces assets as part of this? I was actually looking forward to using the all-new USAF mod with SF units patrolling the airbase for ambience, and ended up surprised when I didn't find them in here 🙂

Negative. we have dropped the whole ground force stuff as there are mods out there like RHS and other gear mods that provide all the necessary assets to simulate Security Forces and AFSOC forces.

Can you turn the m1 abrams and the m2 bradley from rhs into the batt of the c17?

Due to our older loading system (relying on the bounding box around the vehicle to determine the size) and RHS's bounding boxes being a decent bit larger than the vehicles themselves (can be seen in editor) it is currently limited to what your images show with the vehicle being "too big". We will fix this in future when moving to the vanilla ViV system

The AIM120Cs are designed primarily for long range use and thus they always use a datalink for initial guidance; even when the bay doors are open the missile rails are not extended and so the missiles cannot see the target anyway. The AIM-120s can still be deployed at short range, but its riskier in real life (though this is not something that is replicated in Arma 3 game mechanics). The way we can better reflect this in game with the mod is to only open the bay doors when the missile or bomb is being ejected.

First of all the AIM-120C is a Radar guided Medium (not Long) range missile. They use the aircraft radar information for initial guidance and after a certain period after launch the missile will go "Pitbull" meaning it will turn on it's own active radar to keep tracking the target (It does not require the aircraft to keep active lock on the target either, unlike the AIM-7 which is a semi-active radar missile). Additionally the AIM-120 doesn't need a launch rail unlike the AIM-9X (hence it extends a little out of the F-22, and which is why the F-35 can't carry AIM-9's internally) and can just be "dropped" after which the missile's motor will go active. It also does not need to "look" at the target with any form of sensor on the nose as it doesn't have such a thing (again unlike the AIM-9 which has a Heatseeking sensor in the nose). And the thing with the bay being constantly open when the missile/bomb type is selected is something we will look into.

Thanks for the kind words everyone with regards to the M-ATV, I will relay them to Gurdy, who did a crap ton of modelling on it as well, basically the entire Med Poly with a few changes. We'll do some kind of official teaser once I add the other variant this weekend. Cheers!

What would this other variant be.... 🤨
