I was watching some of your older livestreams. When you guys were playing a mission in Arma 3, you mentioned new Insurgent units. Is that something still in the works or finished?

Are you sure? This is where the T90S, export version of the T90A (originally supposed to be going to India, but a batch of T90S tanks were sent to Dagestan instead) http://mdb.cast.ru/mdb/3-2002/ac/raowdsmcc/ (This is Moscow Defense Brief, a Russian based military think tank) The source claiming T90S tanks were used, and sustained no damage during combat operations apparently comes from an interview with the participants of the combat operations. (Probably Russian soldiers) Are you suggesting they just got it mixed up with the 1989 version of the T72B? Seems possible, but possible doesn't mean the truth. Ill look into it more. I trust what you say, you seem to know alot about the tank. I would just prefer to see a source. Perhaps you can PM a source, so this conversation doesnt derail the thread?

T90A has a newer welded turret. No one knows if it adds to the protection of the tank or not, but its essentially the turret from an experimental Soviet-collapse era tank. (The Object 187 experimental tank was designed by a guy named Vladimir. Thats why the T90A is usually called the T90A 'Vladimir') The original T90 was a T72 on crack + heroin, the T90A is its own tank. The T90A has been produced for the Russian Army since 1999 and performed well in Dagestan. No one really knows if the hull design was changed at all due to the new turret. The only person who would know if hull design was changed due to a new turret, would be a member of the Russian Armed Forces. I dont know of anyone that fits that description. To sum up the T90A in my own words, its basically the hybrid of a T80, T72, and Object 187.

Contemporary Iranian Infantry pls (Tired of Aliens) Iran's Revolutionary Guard: http://i.imgur.com/Jh1Jqgl.jpg | http://i.imgur.com/Cl0KyuX.jpg An all-volunteer force and highly motivated force dedicated to essentially protecting its own and the theocratic regime's international interests, they receive the bulk of Iran's modern equipment. They number about 100,000-120,000 men. This includes the Naval Infantry component as well. Their newest standard rifle is claimed to be an upgraded version of the Norinco M16 copy seen in the photo. Iranian Regular Army: http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/multimedia/archive/00373/119681654_373179c.jpg | http://www.israellycool.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/iran-army3.jpg | http://ph.cdn.photos.upi.com/collection/n2/upi/6497/a7f53fd8134fd4dc01ab5e87140c07dd/Iran-celebrates-National-Army-Day_1_1.jpg Tasked with defending the borders and of course acting as a formal army, Iran's army is mainly made up of conscripts who receive professional military training. Their standard issue rifle is the G3A3 locally produced in Iran, with the MGA3 (Iranian copy of the German MG3) serving as its main heavy machine gun. Im thinking of just mixing the CSAT and AAF equipment together, perhaps adding in the khaki tactical vests for the standard infantry. I believe this would suffice for the time being in order to replace CSAT forces with retextured and contemporary looking Iranian units. Iranian soldiers, excluding artillery and logistics troops, are switching over to an Iranian copy of both the PASGT and German modern helmets, so something like the AAF MICH would do the job. All modern camos and some still used are found near the bottom of the page: http://camopedia.org/index.php?title=Iran

Russia's modernization programs look promising for the country's armed forces. On top of Armata they still have Ratnik to implement. I can't wait to see the T14 on Victory Day this year, will be a pretty cool sight.
  10. I am assuming this is it? If thats the case, this is even better than vanilla ECH light helmets in Arma 3. http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/536262901393318720/B5D0DD1DF3EE6AC84AC8BFCCDA3C9590D1EC5C83/ (128 kB) http://cloud-2.steamusercontent.com/ugc/535138812666968467/B6D6F8011073AE6D0F00C8886921F94851FC1F31/ (472 kB) (2nd pic, are those the vests from the Czech soldiers from Arma 2? How are you gonna make that work with arma 3 units lol?) Either way, looking good.
  11. Hey EvanCat, I wanted to know, will you be adding more equipment to the recon classes? Like bump helmets, new vests, etc? They all kinda look the same for now. I love the uniform for the classes though, looks good.

Well, thats too bad that we won't see the SOCOM equivalent for the Russians in 0.4, I was really hoping to get some Russian Internal action going, but I do see that main forces are the bigger objective here, and it seems as if T90s still need to be implemented so good luck!

    Ukraine General

I like you. Id like to see more and more skepticism of "evidence" on the internet.. I keep seeing people blindly accepting silly accusations from both sides as the truth Both sides are really messed up... Remember the sarin gas stuff? Remember when Russia accused the US of having US troops in Georgia fighting? Nothing but a blame game both sides play...There is no point in finding out which side is "right", because no matter what you will just be disappointed in the end.
