I like turboprops. Maybe Helijah makes them someday and publishes the blender files

heya, ty : ) crashing is usually the result of a corrupt path to a p3d file. In your case it might be proxy paths inside the model. Just delete all proxies except the crew and the propeller blur, fix those 4 proxy paths by renaming them. Converting one of my planes goes like this: Delete all the stuff you do not need, other plane models, other p3d accessories etc, delete those entries in the model.cfg and config.cfg too. Things like superfluous animations, plane variations, weapons, gear etc. In the Modfolder: All config and model cfg files, all material rvmat files. Open in Notepad++. Rename all sab_xy entries with your modnamefolders name. (one click with search and replace in all open files). Adjust all filenames in your modfolder to match your addon name if necessary (p3ds, flightmodels, etc). In the P3D File: find all proxies in the model, in each LOD. Vrtule_blur, wreck proxy, weapon proxies... adjust paths by renaming if necessary. And finally use the <tools>, <mass texture & material> tool in object builder to change all paths with one click: ---> sab_c130\data* --- yourmodfoldername\data* ...etc, do that for each folder. If you only want to use it to jump out you only need a LOD1 for outside view, View Cargo for inside view and a Memory LOD to be able to open the ramp.

I only test with the vanilla game, compability with other addons is only by chance. - In the special case of cups I might be able to fix it

No not really. I have problems fitting all the included planes on stratis airport, I really think there are enough : ) You can all make any kind of livery if you want though, add in a mission or make a retexture addon, The source files are free too,

it should be doing fine no? All I have on my list is to fix the harvest hawks gun someday, and play around with refueling support for firewills helicopters.

sounds like you have some other mods running. I have no rotory wings, no helicopters here. If you are unsure if a mod works you have to test it one. Most of the messages I get are "your mod is not working" and it turns out the people have some other stuff running... it works perfectly on my test server with the current up to date mod versions. test if you want: don't mind the fokker in the screenshots, it is not public yet and the mission is not running

Gunsight is in the works, I have a N-9 reflex model from Helijah and currently trying to fit it in this, the F9F and the Trojan. Adjusting the sight is even less fun than doing gear animations or animating instruments : / I am happy with having Helijah's permission and his vast collection of planes, not seeking any other source : ) Funny, actually tried to put a dauphin in my uav mod as rc helicopter. No success though, i can not make helos fly yet.

Signature verification should still work. You only have to change the folder name, not the pbo afaik. If bisign and pbo still match it should be ok. -

Maybe the main addon folder has space characters in its name if it's from steam? For some server/server admin pages it is necessary to have a name without spaces, so try remove/replace to be able to load them. -
ty, some more progress Chairborne helped me to put the engineer and navigator in their own LODs, had some issues with that. And I am very proud I managed to fix the main gear flap animations :D 1. extended and flaps closed 2. retracting, flaps open up 3. halfway done 4. retracted, and flaps close again :D currently hitting g key a few dozen times and admiring it : D Had to give the flap two different names in the model, and assign two different animations Not sure if my way is overly complicated, but it works (not necessary to assign two selection names, two animation definitions is enough) PS Turns out this was a really minor feat :P Just realised that my C-130 port has a similar animation on the front gear hatch/flap thing. Could have looked there all the time and could have done it easier Sort of reinvented the wheel, anyway still happy I managed :D

sure, maybe next update... just this, there was a special camel built because the gun effects are actually there in the real aircraft and the flashes bothered the pilots during night missions (comic camel) - the bomb camera is a fun idea actually

Yes, external scripts or mission setups is the way to go. Making a fixed script in the addon would make a million people complain that vehicle xy is not included...

dang lol, i just realised I had this posted already. hang on going to ask for thread merge :D and it is already highly explosive Eagle, due to inheriting the large UAV class : ) have not found a way to remove the explosion damage yet

I've actually been inside the An-22 of the second picture a few times : ) Yea small problem there though, Helijah's An-22 has no interior currently, let's see what I can do about it, but do not expect a miracle

that russian texture looks doable : ) what is that strange thing attached to the fuselage? Is it some sort of sensor pod - anyone know? the gauges... well idk, might do the falcon 50s first. somtime though. .. .. .. meanwhile: while I was at it I made the same liveries for the An-22 : D Before you all go crazy, the An-12 is the nicer plane. The An-22 has a much simpler cockpit and no cargo interior at all. I will have to make one up

turns out the tail turret is ok after a bit of playing around but the flight engineer is giving me more trouble. I had to delete him :P this is something for my UN faction, someday I have to have a look at that addon again : ) really liking the cockpit, someday I probably will have to animate some of the gauges
